How it works
Pulse: one number for “still building?”
Every product gets a score out of 100, recalculated daily from public, verifiable signals. Here's exactly how it's calculated.

- A release published in the last 7 days+10
- Changelog page changed since the last check+20

- Founder note this week, without a link+15
The rules
What every label means.
- Pulse
- This week's score blends 70/30 with last week's, so one quiet week dims you gently instead of wiping you out.
- Lit
- Needs a verified shipping signal this week and a site that isn't down. A founder's note alone never lights a product.
- Dim
- No verified shipping in the last 7 days, or the live link is down. Ship again and you're back.
- Streak
- Consecutive weeks Lit. Miss a week and it resets to zero.
- Verified
- The founder proved ownership with a claim code in keel.txt or on the live site.
- Cadence
- Every product is rescored daily. Founders can recalculate on demand, at most once every 10 minutes.
Why a note can't light you up
Anyone can type “shipped a big update”. Commits, releases and a changed changelog page are harder to fake, and they're public. That's what makes Lit mean something to traders. Closed source? Point Keel at your changelog page and every real update counts.
